Convert money between supported world currencies using current reference exchange-rate data. The calculator shows the source rate and rate date so you can distinguish a reference conversion from the final rate offered by a bank, card network or money-transfer service.
Reference exchange rates are supplied through the Frankfurter API from central-bank and official-provider data. They are suitable for estimates, not live trading or a guaranteed bank/card settlement quote.
How this tool works
Converted amount = source amount × reference exchange rate for the selected currency pair.
Example
If the USD/EUR reference rate is 0.86, then $100 converts to approximately €86 before any bank spread, card fee or transfer charge.
Common questions
Are these live trading rates?
No. The converter uses published reference rates that update as official providers publish data. They are not tick-by-tick FX quotes.
Why can my bank show a different amount?
Banks, cards and transfer services can apply their own spread, fee, settlement time and conversion method.
