Scientific Calculator

Use an online scientific calculator for arithmetic, exponents, roots, trigonometry, logarithms and constants such as π and e. Switch between degrees and radians for trigonometric functions.

Result1

Supports +, −, ×, ÷, powers, parentheses, π, e, sin, cos, tan, inverse trig functions when typed, square root, ln, log, exp and absolute value.

How this tool works

The expression parser follows ordinary mathematical precedence: parentheses, powers, multiplication/division, then addition/subtraction. Functions are evaluated before surrounding arithmetic.

Example

In degree mode, sin(30)^2 + cos(30)^2 evaluates to 1, demonstrating the standard trigonometric identity.

Common questions

Does it support degrees and radians?

Yes. DEG applies degree input/output to trigonometric functions; RAD uses radians.

Which functions are available?

The calculator supports sin, cos, tan, inverse trig when typed, square root, natural log, base-10 log, exponential and absolute value.
